Annabel started her first day of Pre-K today! Big things will happen at her Spanish preschool – lots of talking, some reading, math and writing. We can’t wait for what this year will bring!

Can you believe it? 4!?!?! And me and mom missed it?!?! We had a dinner for Annabel last Saturday and she’s having the big party this weekend – so we will make up for it then. In the meantime, enjoy this group of photos from the weekend and yesterday.
Oh and mom made a couple of presents for her that she likes to show off:
I guess the excitement of school being out, the lost tooth, the present pile growing under the tree led to failure to post yesterday.
We’ve made up for it in today’s video.
Mom took one last picture of my smile.
I tried the apple that I showed you on Monday – and I tried floss
And yesterday on the playground it popped out of my mouth!
I was in luck to lose it at school because I got a special tooth keychain to use to carry it home.
The hole is pretty small because my new teeth are already on their way:
Last week we made a special tooth-hiding pillowcase with a pocket for the tooth fairy.
The tooth fairy brought me $$$$!!! I’m very happy and could get used to this!
Look what else she brought!
Yesterday was my first day back at school.
Annabel got dressed up in her new dress from Columbia that Viviana brought her (she refused breakfast so she wouldn’t get it dirty.) Mom is happy to have me back in uniform.
I set my alarm, got myself up, dressed and made my own breakfast!
This year at school, I get to travel upstairs.
First grade means my first year with a desk!
After my first day, I reported that I liked recess, mixed up math, and French. I was very excited to be back at my school, and the teachers and staff were excited too!
This morning was Annabel’s first day back at her preschool. She was also so excited to go back.
She loves school!
An amazing year at school! Today was my last day of kindergarten.
I love my teacher, Meg.
Today my 5th grade buddy graduated – I brought her blue flowers and a blue lollipop
I caught mom crying in my classroom after reading this
I’m so proud of all my hard work this year – I can read, write, do math, make new friends, play hard and listen well, I respect others and love my school!
